Overview
Kedarnath is a sacred Hindu pilgrimage site in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, India. It is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, or holiest shrines of Shiva.
Kedarnath Temple: A temple built from huge grey stones, and considered to be over 1,000 years old.
Chorabari Glacier: The glacier that feeds the Mandakini River.
Ruins of Adi Shankaracharya’s resting place: A monument marking the place where the 8th-century philosopher is said to have died.
