Overview
Chopta is a picturesque and serene hill station located in the Indian state of Uttarakhand, often referred to as the “Mini Switzerland of India.” It is part of the Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary and sits at an altitude of about 2,680 meters (8,790 feet) above sea level.Chopta is renowned for its lush meadows, pristine forests, and stunning views of the surrounding snow-capped Himalayan peaks, such as Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Chaukhamba.
